I did this exercise challenge today. I was so lazy and hungover, but this really was fun and it only took a few minutes!

workout bliss
Missed two days of working out due to girl's night (which equals TOO much wine) and Valentine's day (TOO much chocolate and wine!). I was feeling so down on myself for not working out or running in the past 2 days. It doesn't make sense I know. I got myself out of the rut/funk tonight though at work.
I ran/walked up 18 flights of stairs 4 times. Using the railing and some weird cart on the 6th floor, I did reverse push-ups and dips (4sets by 15reps). And about a million lunges and squats.
Whole workout took about an hour to complete.
Military Squats-3X15
Lunges (static)2X12
Lunges (walking) 2x12
Jump Lunges (2x6reps)
Jump Squats (2x15)
Reverse Lunges (3x8reps)
Planks
Push-ups (3x15)
Fire Hydrant (2x12)
Butt/Leg Lifts (2x12)
I felt great. Just hope my butt isn't too sore to run tomorrow!
XO. Wish I was sleeping....

here we go
Forum here for exercise, nutrition, etc.
Over the past month or so, I am becoming increasingly interested in bodybuilding/lifting and exercise for fat loss and muscle gain. I want to use this blog to keep me more accountable for my training.
January 27th-I started a marathon training program at the local running room. So far so good, it has a great schedule to follow for training. We ran 13km this past Sunday, what a difference to run in a group rather than alone! especially in the snow.
In between my running days, I'm hoping to get in lifting/weight training at the gym. Found some great help with this on Bodybuilding.com.
I did arms/chest/lower abs on Saturday, ran yesterday, so today is: butt and legs. I actually hate doing lunges with a burning passion, but they are the best! and building those big leg muscles helps the body burn more calories after working out...(after burn).
I will do some research and get my workout posted after I finish.
